I make a lunch box (‘bento’) for my daughter twice a week. What I make is pretty ordinary, and some moms make artistic work aclled ‘Character Bento Box.‘ My focus here is to stuff the kid’s favorites and some veges, so that when she meets me at kindergarten pick-up, she would report me she emptied it out so proudly. I just counted how many more bento I will make for her before the summer vacation, I realized that it is only 6 times more. I wish I were more creative to make the remaining boxes different and surprising.
幼稚園のお弁当づくりも大分とこなれてきましたが、やはり前日には食材のチェックと早起きという心の準備が加わります。これまでキャラ弁なども登場させつつ、完食してくれる内容のものを突き詰めていくと、本人の好物とお野菜を少し入れるというなんともワンパターンなメニューが続くのでした。７月に入るとお弁当の日がなくなり、全ての日が早帰りとなるので、それはそれで午後保育のケアなど大変な面もありますが、夏休みまでのお弁当は残すところあと６回ほど。がんばるぞ～。
